| 1.Scope of application |

SA5 series automatic change over switch are suitable for AC 50/60Hz,rated working voltage AC660V and the following automatic change over between main power source and emergency power supply. Besides applying to first class load, it also apply to high-ranking building,post and telecommunications,hotel and hospital,industry assembly, military installations,fire control,lift and so on. The rated controlling voltage of switch is AC 220V, reserve power can be the reserve electric wire net,diesel oil generator of emergent self-starting and battery. |

| 5.Movement principle |
|
When voltage relay of main power source finds the voltage signals changing (For example: over voltage or under voltage), voltage relay of emergency power supply operates immediately and links the time relay of its control at the same time. After time delaying, the middle relay links to supply power to the rectification bridge of its control, drives the electromagnetic coil of the controlling circuit, then switch operates, the circuit of main power disconnects, and emergency power supply is linked. When the main power source returns to normal, the voltage relay operates. After time delaying, the middle relay is on and supplies power to the rectification bridge and drives electromagnetic coil, then switch operates,the emergency power supply stops the power supply, and main power source recovers to supply power. |
| 6.Structure of the switch |
|
SA5 series automatic change over switch are composed of two parts: main contact system and control system. It is connected as an organic whole by the mechanical drive organization. The design is accurate and rational, electric and machinery are chained at the same time to guarantee the main power source and emergency power supply not to be linked at same time. The main contact adopts the silver tungsten alloy and silver carbon compound tungsten graphite which are able to bear the electric arc with strong ability to lengthen service life. Arc-chutes has strong quenching ability, and can realize the switch change over with load, it can also realize manual change over by handle 2 under no load. Adopting the electrodynamic electromagnetism drive and the direct current pulse operating, So it plays an important role on prolonging the coil life and saving the electric energy. Electric interval and creepage distance of the switch accord with the isolator standard, so it has isolated functions. A1,A2 and B1,B2 are the terminals of the two groups power control wire.The switch keeps 2 groups of auxiliary contacts (A1,A3,B1,B3) or 3 groups of auxiliary contacts (A3,A4,A5,B3,B4、B5) to serve the purpose of other at same time. |
